KOALA 2018 will be held at Macquarie University, North Ryde campus, Sydney, Australia. Five nights of accommodation will be provided at Robert Menzies College, located at Macquarie University. Each registered KOALA 2018 attendee will stay in a single room with shared facilities. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be catered for and located in the RMC dining room. The KOALA attendee registration covers the cost of accommodation and meals for one person only. If you are a parent or carer and require a different accommodation arrangement, please contact the KOALA 2018 committee and consider applying for a travel grant!

For domestic and international students arriving by plane, both Syndey International Airport and Sydney Domestic Airport are connected to the Sydney Trains Network. You will require an NSW travel Opal Card which can be purchased at the Aiport train station. Make sure you pre-load enough money onto your card to cover costs to Macquarie University. You will need to travel on the T8 line to Central Station, and then change trains at Central to the T1 line towards Chatswood Station. Please note, Macquarie University train station will be closed in December – buses will be available from Chatswood Station to Macquarie University.
