The timetable for this year’s conference is below. Attendees can also view the online programme at which details each session throughout the week, including presenters and their abstracts. You will need to login to see this.

This year’s conference will consist of:

  • Plenary sessions given by internationally renowned speakers

  • Poster sessions, and
  • An Industry and Innovation evening.

We will also hold a social day on the Wednesday which will allow us to get to know each other through a bit of fun!

This will involve rapid-fire 90 second talks, with questions to be held off until they can be discussed in front of the posters.

This year we will also be introducing a new night event with a panel of postdocs so we can learn more about the transition up the academic career ladder. There will also be a greater focus on Professional Development, including a Networking 101 workshop by Professionals Australia and an introduction to educational outreach by Jessica DeGroote Nelson, developer of OSA’s Optics Suitcase educational outreach tool.
