↑ Return to Private: Registration

Five nights of accommodation will be provided at the Women’s College, located on the University of Queensland’s St Lucia campus.

Each registered IONS KOALA attendee who requires accommodation will stay in a single room with shared facilities. There will be plenty of chances to socialise with colleagues in the common recreation areas throughout the college. The registration fee covers the cost of this accommodation for one person only (no additional guests, e.g. spouse or children, can be accommodated except in exceptional circumstances and upon discussion with the organisers. There is affordable accommodation nearby, otherwise public transport is very convenient).

The cost of meals from Sunday dinner through to Friday lunch are included in the registration fee. Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be served at the accommodation in the dining hall, except the social day lunch, which will be at the Stradbroke Hotel, and dinner on Thursday will be held in Navala Churrascaria on the Riverside for the conference dinner, celebrating KOALA’s tenth birthday. See the programme for day to day venues.

Check in: 4-6pm Sunday 26 November, 2017.

Check out: Friday 1 December, 2017.

Additional nights of accommodation can be arranged at your own expense, but must be arranged by attendees directly with Women’s College. There is an agreed rate of $80 per night for the single room accommodation.

All Brisbane-based attendees will have the option of staying on-site during the conference or staying at their usual accommodation (if the latter, then registration only covers lunch and dinner during the conference). Should you require accommodation at Women’s College during KOALA you must indicate that upon registration.

Delegates have access to common room areas around the college for socialising after evening events.
